Shaghayegh “Shauna” López, LMFT

Hi, my name is Shaghayegh “Shauna” López.

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Anger Management Counselor and a Clinical Supervisor at InTune Family Counseling.

My passion is to be a supporter of wellness and a catalyst for thriving through difficult life experiences.

I specialize in working with teens, transitional age youth, families and adults through a personalized approach that is tailored to the unique needs of each client.

I help people who want to be able to . . .

·       Heal from trauma

·       Persevere through hardship

·       Learn to accept themselves and their circumstances

·       Gain skills to manage social and emotional challenges

If you’re struggling to adjust to life changes, having difficulty managing your feelings or fighting with self-blame and criticism, therapy can help.

I often work with people who are struggling to advocate for their needs. People who are trying their best to manage the high expectations of society, culture, institutions, and families. People who find themselves needing to learn to love, accept and gain skills to improve their life as they work through barriers.

I can support and motivate you to reach your full potential. To gain flexibility in your thought process.

I will encourage you to engage in mindfulness and self-compassion so you can fully participate in your life’s journey rather than being just a bystander.

In my 15 years of therapeutic experience, I have been able to guide my clients using a collaborative approach that helps build self-esteem and encourages growth and wellness. I offer supportive listening and validation, as well as practical guidance.

I believe that it takes courage to take a chance on yourself. To invest in your well-being and that of your family.

If we get the chance to work together, I will help you gain the confidence to achieve your personal goals.
